However the Church regards the Bible as the ultimate source of authority under God and the following is a list, albeit somewhat simplified, of the fundamental tenets of the Church: the Trinity of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; God as Creator; Jesus as the Son of God; the Resurrection of Jesus; and the continuing influence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We classify Holy Communion and Baptism as Sacraments, believing them to have been uniquely instituted by Jesus.

We commit ourselves to carrying out this mission in the following ways:
- by loving and serving one another so that we grow together into a close Christian fellowship;
- by welcoming newcomers warmly into our midst;
- by encouraging everyone in the congregation to use their talents and gifts in God's service;
- by caring for the needy in our congregation and in the local community, and by reaching out beyond ourselves to the wider world;
- by co-operating with other Churches in ministry to people in the Brussels area;
- by making our premises available for appropriate outreach work.
